Alison Sudol (born December 23, 1984), known professionally as A Fine Frenzy (formerly Alison Monro) is an American alternative singer-songwriter and pianist. Her debut album, One Cell in the Sea, was released on July 17, 2007, and peaked at number 91 on the Billboard 200 chart. She has developed a strong fan base in the United States and elsewhere with her lyrical and poetic music and her strong emotional themes.

In March 2007, Sudol appeared at the South by Southwest (SXSW) conference, opening for The Stooges. Shortly after, her debut album, One Cell in the Sea, was released to generally positive reviews. The first single, "Almost Lover", peaked at number 25 on Billboard's Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart. Additionally, in October 2008, "You Picked Me" was chosen as network theme by SIC, a Portuguese television network.

Delta Lea Goodrem (born 9 November 1984) is an Australian singer-songwriter, pianist, and actress. Her repertoir falls under the pop and adult contemporary styles, and heavily features the piano, which she usually plays in her bare feet while performing live. Her music is usually heavily influenced by classical or Adult Contemporary music, and sometimes by others such as alternative pop (pop rock) and dance-pop. To date, Goodrem has achieved eight number one ARIA singles and multiple UK Top 10 singles.

Her debut album, 2003's Innocent Eyes, made Delta Goodrem one of Australia's highest selling female recording artists, spending 29 weeks at #1, selling well over a million copies in Australia and another 3.5 million internationally, debuting at #2 in the UK. In 2003, at the age of 18, amidst her blooming career, Goodrem was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a form of cancer which affects the immune system. She has since made a full recovery but is still in remission and now devotes a great deal of her time promoting cancer charities. In 2004 Goodrem released Mistaken Identity, her second studio album which entered the ARIA charts at #1 spawning two #1 singles and quickly gained multi-platinum status. Goodrem released her third studio album, self-titled Delta, on 20 October 2007 to yet another number-one debut, gaining multi-platinum status within the first few months of release. In January 2009, Goodrem will embark on the Believe Again Tour of Australia to support her third studio album.

Roxette is a Swedish pop duo, consisting of Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle. This duo achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with their hit singles "The Look", "Listen To Your Heart", "It Must Have Been Love" and "Joyride". All four songs became US #1 singles[1] and reached the upper regions of the charts all around the world. Their albums Look Sharp! and Joyride went platinum on both sides of the Atlantic, while singles, "The Look" and "It Must Have Been Love" both received gold awards from the RIAA.

After their early success, Roxette went on to release three more studio albums, Crash! Boom! Bang! (1994), Have a Nice Day (1999) and Room Service (2001). Amy Jade Winehouse (born 14 September 1983[2]) is an English singer and songwriter, known for her eclectic mix of various musical genres including soul, jazz, rock & roll and R&B. Winehouse is best known for her soulful, powerful contralto vocals.

Winehouse's 2003 debut album Frank did well, both commercially and critically, in her native Britain. It was nominated for the Mercury Prize. Her 2006 follow-up album Back to Black led to six Grammy Award nominations and five wins, tying the record for the most wins by a female artist in a single night, and made Winehouse the first British singer to win five Grammys, including three of the "Big Four": Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Marié Christina Digby (born April 16, 1983) is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and pianist. She is best known for her acoustic cover version of Rihanna's No. 1 hit "Umbrella", which attracted attention on YouTube in 2007. Marie's first official single, "Say It Again", was released to radio stations on January 18, 2008. Her debut album, Unfold, was released on April 8, 2008.

Marié Digby, whose father is Irish American and whose mother is Japanese is the eldest of three siblings. She began writing songs during high school in Los Angeles, California. After completing her sophomore year as a philosophy major at the University of California, Berkeley, she came out into the public eye when she won the 2004 Pantene Pro-Voice competition with her song Miss Invisible.[3] The grand prize for the concert included working with a professional producer on an album, $5,000 and performing on stage with other top performers.

There has been controversy over Digby's YouTube popularity. As of July 2008, her homemade music videos have been viewed over 10 million times on the video sharing website. It has been suggested by The Wall Street Journal that she feigned a grassroots effort and amateur status in order to generate buzz as part of an online marketing campaign created by Hollywood Records,a strategy sometimes labeled "astroturfing". She has responded, writing on her blog that she never lied about being signed to Hollywood Records and has stated that her videos were her own "desperate" response to a lack of promotion.

SORE was originaly formed by three childhood friends (Ade Paloh, Mondo Gascaro & Awan Garnida). In late 2001 Awan Garnida brought two other friends (Bembi Gusti & Reza Dwiputranto) to form a group which they called SORE (means "late afternoon" in Indonesian). In late 2004 and early 2005 they contributed in a couple of compilation albums, the first was a compilation of music from Jakarta 's indie scene called "JKRT:SKRG" ("Jakarta, Now") released by Aksara Records.

In Sept 2005 "Centralismo" was reviewed in TIME ASIA Magazine as "One of Asia's WorthBuying Album". In late 2007 this album was ranked as no 40 in "150 Greatest Indonesion Album of All Time" in Rolling Stone Indonesia Magazine. And now after working their materials for more than a year, they have just realesed their second album entitled "Ports of Lima" (Aksara Records - 2008) to great critical acclaim. The music in this album is relatively denser in texture than their previous release, with a lot more guitars and distortion, and stronger atmospheric sensibilities.

Mathew Kearney born December 1, 1978, is an American singer-songwriter born in Eugene, Oregon, now based in Nashville, Tennessee. Kearney has received widespread recognition from his major label debut, Nothing Left to Lose. Kearney's songs have appeared on the television series: Dirty Sexy Money, Kyle XY, The Unit, Without A Trace, Laguna Beach, The Hills, Bones, Jericho, Friday Night Lights, Wildfire, What About Brian, South Beach, 8th & Ocean, One Tree Hill, Scrubs, The Closer, NCIS and, most notably, Grey's Anatomy.

He has toured with Jason Mraz, Meiko, Cary Brothers, John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, and The Fray; and headlined VH1's first ever "You Oughta Know Tour" in the spring of 2007. His new album was recently recorded in Nashville, TN. It will then be mixed in New York within the coming weeks as mentioned by Kearney in a recent Myspace Blog.
