Adele Laurie Blue Adkins (born 5 May 1988 in Enfield, North London), known professionally as Adele, is a British singer. Adele has described her musical style as "heartbroken soul". She is the first recipient of the BRIT Awards Critics' Choice, which was given to artists who, at the time, had yet to release an album. She has noted American jazz and blues singers Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald as influences. She debuted at number one with her Mercury Prize-nominated debut album (19) on the UK album chart.

Aime Ann Duffy (born June 23, 1984 in Bangor, Gwynedd, Wales), known professionally as Duffy, is a Welsh singer-songwriter. She debuted at number one on the UK Album Charts with her album Rockferry, so far, selling over 3.4 million copies worldwide. Duffy is the first Welsh female to achieve a number one pop single in the past 25 years with her second single "Mercy".

Kate Marie Nash (born 6 July 1987) known as Kate Nash is an English singer and songwriter based in London. She had a UK #2 hit "Foundations" in 2007, followed by the platinum selling UK number 1 album Made of Bricks. Nash started her career in 2007. After several gigs, Nash uploaded her music to the social networking website MySpace. Nash found a manager for herself before proceeding to look for producers for her music

Leona Louise Lewis (born 3 April 1985 in London, England, United Kingdom) is an English pop and R&B singer, and the winner of the third series of the British television talent show The X Factor in 2006. Her debut album, Spirit, was released throughout Europe in 2007 and became the fastest-selling debut album ever in both the United Kingdom and Ireland. Released in North America in 2008, Spirit debuted at number one on the United States' Billboard 200 album chart, making Lewis the first British solo artist to top the chart with a debut album
